So I found this artist and realized that her ideas are almost like my ideas, however, she puts them into perspective a bit differently. Ehren Elizabeth Reed is an artist that mixes traditional crafts with contemporary media and consumer culture. In other words, her work may be classified as really crafty pop art. She combines the digital world with the manual physical labor of sewing, embroidery, etc. I like her work in the sense that it dabs into a bit of how I see things...just a bit. I also wish I would've found this artist when we did our book project, for that is a large part of her work.
